So yeah, the HD in my laptop is shot. It's still under warranty so Apple is replacing it, but that's 7-10 business days from Monday and then I'll have to reinstall applications and the like. (sigh) I'm not sure what that means for Pic_A_Day in the interim - probably it will be down. In theory I could download the GiMP for Windows and use that to edit pictures, but it's debateable how I feel about that.
