I have two observations:

Holy Cow is season 2 of Eureka darker than season 1! I still like the show, and it still has some humorous elements, but there's been a lot of nasty stuff in the first few episodes. Henry's erased memories, Beverly has run off, Carter has lost his future with Allison . . . .
How good is David Tennant in the new Doctor Who? He's just amazing! I'm not somebody who was a huge Doctor Who fan, but I've watched the new series, starting with Christopher Eccleston and through series two (with Tennant). But the series three episodes so far - Tennant has just done an incredible job of emoting the loneliness of being the last Time Lord, and the responsibility of all his actions.
